Founded in 1994, FIT supports the creation and development of new businesses in the canton of Vaud and in Western Switzerland.

FIT provides support through several programmes:

FIT Tech, for high-tech start-ups,
FIT Digital, for digital start-ups with an innovative business model and strong growth potential,
FIT Food & Hospitality Vertical, for projects in the field of nutrition and hospitality,
FIT Impact, for high-impact low-tech projects.

In 2024, FIT supported 49 projects for a total amount of 6.445 million Swiss francs.

Isospec Analytics, MYSTONES and Skilder: three Vaud-based start-ups supported by the FIT

The Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT) is awarding a Tech Growth loan of CHF 400’000 to Isospec Analytics, an EPFL spin-off specialising in the identification of biological molecules for medical research. MYSTONES and Skilder are each receiving a CHF 20’000 Digital Grant: the former for its athlete tracking platform, the latter for centralising companies’ expertise within their AI tools.

DETECTRA, TUUS Solutions, and Anyway Systems each receive a Tech Seed loan

The Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT) is supporting three new startups in the Vaud region through Tech Seed loans. DETECTRA receives 100’000 CHF to develop its solution for remote monitoring of joint inflammation in patients with inflammatory arthritis. TUUS Solutions has received a 100’000 CHF loan to advance its dietary gel, designed to improve nutrient absorption. Anyway Systems has also received 100’000 CHF for its platform enabling companies to deploy AI models directly on their own infrastructure.
