Founded in 1994, FIT supports the creation and development of new businesses in the canton of Vaud and in Western Switzerland.

FIT provides support through several programmes:

FIT Tech, for high-tech start-ups,
FIT Digital, for digital start-ups with an innovative business model and strong growth potential,
FIT Food & Hospitality Vertical, for projects in the field of nutrition and hospitality,
FIT Impact, for high-impact low-tech projects.

In 2024, FIT supported 49 projects for a total amount of 6.445 million Swiss francs.

Enerdrape, Bioneris and Divea receive FIT support for their innovations

A Tech Growth loan of CHF 400,000 for Enerdrape and its thermal panels that capture and reuse energy from underground spaces, and two Tech Seed loans worth CHF 100,000 each awarded to Bioneris for its food bacteria detection device and to Divea for its filters that capture carbon at source. This is a summary of three innovations recently supported by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT).

A Digital Growth loan for Carewell, a Digital Seed loan for KnowThee and a Digital Grant for Alpi

The Foundation for innovation and technology (FIT) has announced its support for three new innovations at the start of the year. Carewell has been awarded a Digital Growth loan of CHF 200,000 to support its software that connects replacement healthcare staff with healthcare institutions. KnowThee receives a CHF 50,000 Digital Seed loan for its system that helps managers and HR professionals make informed staffing decisions, and finally, Alpi receives a CHF 20,000 Digital Grant for its platform that automates the administrative tasks of insurance advisors.
