Four new low-tech, high-impact projects from the canton of Vaud have each been awarded a FIT Impact grant of 10,000 Swiss francs. They originate from UNIL and H4. FineTouch Academy offers a suture kit and an e-learning platform designed for medical students and hospitals. Phonemia uses beatboxing as a speech therapy tool for children. The SODA association aims to make science more accessible and understandable to all. Finally, TYTOdb offers a digital solution to facilitate biodiversity surveys.

Three innovations have been recognized by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology (FIT), with three start-ups receiving Tech Seed loans. First, Diverssity received CHF 50,000 for its therapeutic, multisensory game “My Magic Room,” designed for neurodiverse adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. Next is MoleSense, which will be able to develop its wearable skin sensor for the management of high-risk pregnancies thanks to CHF 100,000 granted by the FIT. Finally, CHF 100,000 in loan funding has also been awarded to Performance MouthGuard, a custom-made mouthguard that protects against dental injuries and concussions.
In a context where sustainable development and related issues have become paramount, the Foundation for Innovation and Technology is committed to supporting innovative ideas that contribute to a better future for future generations.
